I started hearing songs from God at the age six. I would hear almost five songs a day sometimes, so I took the initiative back in 1984 to start documenting them. I have been creating songs in the genres of Pop, R&B, Jazz, Gospel, Blues, Soft Rock, and Hip-Hop. I have over 1500 songs to this date, but I have not been able to produce them until recently when technology advanced. Not only did the Lord anoint me with the gift of songwriting, He also anointed my voice at the same time. Singing and writing songs has been a part of my life since childhood, and I praise God for giving me these special gifts. I was discovered at vacation bible school back in the 80's at St. James Catholic Church. At twelve, I began singing as a lead cantor in the St. James Catholic Church Gospel Choir. I also performed various school functions, and at both Catholic & Baptist church functions in the community. My mother saw my interest in music, and she was gracious often to pay for private piano lessons for me. I was classical trained by Ms. Babbette Joseph. This helped me to establish knowledge about the fundamentals of music. In college, I also took some music classes and was a member of the Southern University Concert Choir. I sang with the St. Catherine of Sienna Gospel Choir in Donaldsonville, Louisiana.

In September of 2009, the Lord instructed me to compose a twelve song album about His guidance and light in my life. The album entitled “Him First” tells about the reality of what I and others around the world have may have experienced. Each song gives praise to God, and also gives tips on how to walk out of life's floodwaters with strength. In these troubled times that we face today. The number one priority in our lives should be helping to spread the message of God's Word to our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. Daily prayers, reflection, and composing songs in Jesus’ name have helped me to stay peaceful, positive, ambitious, and generous. You do not have to wait on anyone to hand you your dreams. God has made YOU the "employer". It is up to you to believe in your anointing that He has blessed you with, and then have the confidence to go outward and claim your rewards. Don't worry about your peers or neighbors laughing and doubting you. Out-smarting Satan and rebuking his evil antics is the second step in finding fulfillment in your life. When you have the shield of the Holy Trinity protecting you, fear will never be an option. Satan and his followers will not be able to sabotage you. Establish a sincere relationship with the Lord daily, and have FULL confidence in the instructions that He has given you to follow through.
